You know, it’s been said that there are no bad days, only bad attitudes.. If you really think about it, it is very true. A day is neither good or bad. The attitude you have towards what happens in any given day is what determines whether you think it’s been a good day or a bad day. Generate a better attitude for yourself and your day can only get better. Now that doesn’t mean bad or annoying things won’t happen, it just means that you’ll be able to handle them better and not get so stressed out.
Decide what’s important to you and what’s worth letting your mood or your attitude get out of control. For example, if someone cuts in front of you at checkout, is that really worth getting upset over? Just because that person is rude and insensitive doesn’t mean that you need to get bent out of shape. Just smile and be grateful that you’re not like that person.
See, when you get angry and react over events like these, you give control of yourself over the the offending person. Most of the times, these people simply aren’t worth you losing control. You, and only you, get to decide to be a better person than that. It really all starts with you attitude
